American & British cars often have different names in Germany. Maybe you try to find the german name for your Cosworths?

The offical name in every country is Ford Escort RS Cosworth

It would be just as hard importing it from Mexico. The DOT could tell that is was made in Germany.

I found several with "Ford Escort Cosworth RS" here in Germany (do you see the small but important difference?) .

Go to http://www.traumautomarkt.de/ (in german only, sorry)
then add the following to the form at the top of the page
Marke: Ford
Modell: Cosworth

Among other "Cosworth" models from Ford you will also find several "Ford Escort Cosworth RS" (I did ;-) )
