i can't remember what chapter it was, but there was one similar tough spot that i got through by putting the three turrents inside of a small room and crouching on the table inside the room with my boomstick to fend off guys that come too close. they don't get close enough to kick them down and they don't like throwing grenades into small doorways.

edit: i was curious , and this is the same spot in chapter 10

Yea, definitely is the hardest part of the game. Took me several tries before I worked out what was best. For me, I just stood in the spot where you grab the turrets from and really only use two of them. Place them close by in the room with the health(same place as you) and when they shoot em down just pop out and set them back up again. Works the same even on hard settings.
