It's the main room to one of Canada's best nightclubs. I don't even go to the Guvernment anymore and I am interested in how these renovations will turn out. Guvernment didn't even HAVE to renovate, they just did to add value for the clubbers. That's pretty impressive.

It definately is a topic worth discussing.

discussing what? I mean, sure, if there were pictures posted, or after the renovations were open to public to view, then I would understand, but what exactly is being discussed?

What is being discussed is a variety of things. First, not everyone in the world knew Guvernment was being renovated, so a discussion on a discussion board would make sense. It's the same as movies or television.

With your logic, sportcasters would say "well they haven't played the game yet, so let's not have a pre-show. Let's just talk about the game after it".

The discussion builds anticipation for the renovations. Hell, I wouldn't be caught dead at Guvernment anymore, but I'd go to check out the renos.
