My great-uncle had a monkey and it was bad.

The thing destroyed the house. They ended up having to lock all the cupboards and hide all the good stuff in locked rooms as it would just go around making a mess and wrecking stuff.

Sometimes it would even tear it's diaper off and crap in odd places (flowerpot, shoes, etc).

Don't get a monkey. The aren't good pets.

When my mom was a kid she had a real monkey for a pet, but it kept touching itself in unappropriate places when my grandma had guests over and stuff, so they had to get rid of it !!
