seriously they should have had a non lethal deterrent such as mace, or cattle prod to force the animal to release the man or a tranquilizer gun. not only was it cruel to shoot the lion he could have easily missed and killed the guy.

it takes a lot to shock me, but oh my god my mouth was wide open at what i have just spectated... i also CANNOT believe the man is still breathing!
i hate lions and tigers but i mean, you cannot cage a lion and expect it to be fully tamed.
they captured the lion and now that it's doing what is natural to it, it gets shot. i wish the lion was still in the wild and i wish this whole thing never happened...
