just wanted to point out that it wasn't discontinued due to hazardous materials or or dangerous componnts - it was just because of rohs compliance that became law in most places of last june.
all sorts of kit was flogged off cheap (i saw electribes in shop new for 70 quid!) and don't forget the NL3 must have been on the market for maybe 5 years.

Wow, thats a pity, the light up rotary encoders were one of my favourite features on any synth... Really hope the nord wave keeps that feature and the oscilators and filters in tact.
