i wasn't sure what to expect going into saturday. i've been loving house and electro so much these days that i have kinda fallen out of going to a lot of trance shows but michelle and lots of other people had tons of great things to say about jose so i was interested in seeing him.
circus looked nice, pretty decorations and i know they were trying to spruce up the place but all the decorations around the dj booth kept you further back from the dj. that is the one thing that i believe so many of us love about circus, the access to watching the dj spin and mix! it just facinates me watching a great dj do their thing. but anyways, the most important apsect of the night was the music!!! ksky layed down a nice solid trance set and it was great to hear so many matt cerf productions! he and jared were there dancing up a storm, was great to see them again!
then jose gets on. and man, i did not stop dancing to his set for the hour and a half he was on!!! he did an excellent job of making the crowd go insane. his set was such a unique mix of house and trance together, if that makes sense?? i guess maybe saying it's progressive trance would be the genre?? anyways, it was a perfect marriage of the two!!! i love, love, loved it!!!! i had so much fun. michelle even commented on how much i was dancing. i truly enjoyed his set and speaking with him afterwards. LA definitely needs to have him back for sure!!! so thank you to those that brought him out. and that track about 45 minutes in "Feels like home" by.....fill in the blank michelle, i can't remember but i just loved it.
good times, good times and so great to see the TA's in attendance. such a great night and then it was off to Avalon for the rest of the nights adventures, and oh the randomness there

, but anyone who really knows their trance music will know that Jose Amnesia is one of the hottest producers in the past 7-10 years, and his DJ sets are phenomenal.
