Well here's what i actually did. I waited until the Virus had stopped counting down all the numbers and it said transferred ok or something like that..

Then it just stayed like that & i looked up the help file where it said Virus KB & indigo users were supposed to turn it off for a bit & turn it on again..So i did that & voila it was fucked..

However i think there were two midi files in the OS folder, i only managed to run the first one, maybe i was supposed to do the second one with the presets before turning it off?

Yeah sounds like you screwed the pooch big time there. You mentioned you were about to ship it off to a buyer so you will need to tell him what's happened and offer:

1) his money back, and get it fixed in your own time, or...
2) to sell the virus to the buyer at a discounted price, given that it's currently a brick, and show him what he can do to get it fixed.
