Without question, the other woman involved should be of your girlfriend's choosing. Contrary to what Andrea has said, I would strongly caution against involving any woman that you already know and/or interact with on any regular or even semi-regular basis. Threesomes can bring forward all sorts of feelings, insecurities, jellousy, that you simply cannot anticipate. You may react differently to something this third party does, give her too much attention, seem too interested in the other woman, etc, and it may bother your girlfriend... conversly she may do the same. If any of these little problems that tend to crop up in threesomes does happen and it's someone you already know or have regular contact with they will be magnified. Play it safe, have your girl invite someone you don't already know and will likely never see again into the mix... that will mitigate any insecurities or jellousy that may develop (trust me, I wish I had incisted on this).

Another tip... no matter what you may think; THIS IS NOT FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT EXCLUSIVELY, IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU. If you girl is willing to do this it's likely because it's something she wants. Let her take the lead, don't be pushy or demanding, and don't be surprised if there are times when you are largely ignored.

Finally, if you really love this girl but the relationship has any sort of instability then don't do it. Threesomes can be good in a stable relationship where both partners are equally open to the idea and very secure in their standing with the other, however, if there is any instability or insecurity this will likely be the begining of a horrible downward spiral in your relationship. Unless you have a rock solid relationship, this is a bad idea.
