I never understood why people get criticized for trying to diversify how they make money. It's a smart move to do such things. If you had the opportunities presented to Tiesto, Jay-Z, Derek Jeter, etc..., you would be a fool to turn them down. Why should they have to turn the down the opportunities you would willing accept?
Even though these people are already rich and famous doesn't mean they don't have aspirations for greater things. It's just stupid to assume that they will retain the status quo because others don't want to be left behind without the famous person they have come to know.
