Just got back. 5:00 AM, driving an hour and a half back east to Melbourne.
Junkie XL never fuckin fails man. Even though I've only seen him once last year at House of Blues (Orlando), this guy knows how to throw it down. His tracks, his energy, I have only seen from a few others (Sander K is the only other that comes to mind). Since I saw him last year, I've turned more towards house music, but tonight was great. He played all kinds of shit, and I've never danced harder.
He's so fuckin friendly too. Chatted and took several pics with him before he went on, and again after he finished. I told him straight up, "I know you do music production for movies, and remix work, but seriously, your DJing is a lot better then guys like Tiesto, and PvD, who demand alot more money, and you deserve to get paid more for your efforts." I think he heard me out too.
Anyways, I'm ready to crash, meeting tomorrow.
I got a flyer from there for Global Underground 32 - Adam Freeland - Mexico City, North American Tour @ Zinc Bar on May 22nd. I've never heard of him (yeah I'm still an EDM newb), but if he's on GU, hes gotta be decent. As long as he doesn't play minimal/electro shit for 4 hours straight, I'll be there.
Also, Rabbit on the Moon is at House of Blues again on 07-07-07. Someone at the club told me they got a brand new show their puttin on too.
