Weird if it's only mp3 release, the album would have had lot's of commercial potential as well IMO. Not just for the edm fans.
bugger that mate, it's a shame your remixes didn't get released. Love the everytime one and the brother brown - under the water one is heavenly

Nice to hear that Ian
Anyway I never was official remixer for the cd either. Lustral's Steve liked my "unofficial" remixes (Everytime, Solace and price we pay) and I send him unmastered/mastered wavs. I've also done 2 remixes of Broken as well, heh.
But if fact I was never contacted by the label itself so maybe they weren't very keen on my remixes or didn't have any use for them.

true... my guess would be that this is on purpose. you have to remember these guys run audiojelly, which is an mp3/wav distribution website. so they're probably gonna try and have audiojelly and/or download sites be exclusive for a while, then eventually release on cd would be my guess.

Yeah I'd really like an official statement about a CD version too, I don't want to pay out for a bunch of MP3s and then find out a CD is coming out.
Also, I've heard many great remixes of tracks from this album by artists like Airillusions, Beetseekers, Magdelayna, Oliver Carr, etc. on various forums, unfortunately none of them are on the official remix CD (which sounds pretty disappointing so I haven't bought it).
Shame they can't collect all these good mixes together on a new remix album which does more justice to the original tracks. I'd definitely buy it
I hope they make a decision about the original album CD version fast, as it sounds like it'd be a good chillout album to buy for this summer...

maybe these remixers would be kind enough to pool their tracks together and make an unofficial/free download available for fans?

Would love to but it's not possible without a label permission.

gotcha. maybe you could ask the label then?
i would *assume* this would be cool with them after some time has passed... so that people do not take your remixes for free as an alternative to buying the remix album. just a guess there.
just out of curiosity... what's the difference between you doing a non-commissioned/not-released remix of a song and another producer creating a bootleg and distributing that for free via the internet?

yeah, I think baroque went for a particular sound, which your remix probably didn't come into. If you could ever sort out for broken/everytime to be put up seperately on something like AJ since ricky & steve do a lot of the work there, it'd be pretty cool to be able to get For now I'll just have to make do with the samples Shame really though mate, cos you've produced some of the best trance i've heard in a long long time especially your album from j00f

I did have my remix of 'because of you' up for download on forums - but Ricky from Lustral told me politely to take it down, as it breaches copyright..
