Conservative cockblocking on the issue has ensured that nothing be done at all untill it is pretty much too late anyway.
They're currently arguing over whether we should cap emmissions at 2012 or 2025 levels. Well surprise retards, 1990 levels were already doing damage... 
Some analyst said that such caps would cost 3% of the world GDP and put the economy into a global recession...it seems like they have no clue what the alternative would end up costing. How much money is the government going to shell out when Florida goes under water?
