alright so im just going to buy 2 new tires. anyone have any suggestions? thinking of Dunlop FM901's since they are $80 and good performance. i know it will change my handling characteristics significantly with regards to the rear end but im not paying over $170 for one Potenza RE92A that came on the car.

fresh rubber is fresh rubber. the more expensive brands last longer or has a higher speed rating other than that I've never felt any significant difference.
cheapest place to get tires from in my book, look to see if u can find cheaper tires on there.

Too bad you don't live here. My bf's dad is a tire distributor. Specialty tires, but he still gets deals on auto tires.

its not the speed rating that makes the difference. the sidewall stiffness and the way the tire performs is what im talking about. also width plays an important role.
