Alright, let me say this. For me, it's really irrelevant. If it exists as a valid taxonomic classification for humans, it is mostly irrelevant anyways. I'll concede, race exists. Then the question is, so what? Except for some medical uses, what else is it useful for?

Races only exist within a discourse - it's social rather than biological, a useless leftover of an unneeded ethnocentric past. I've already addressed this problem in the past, so I don't think I'd need to write it all over again.

But really, saying races exist is just like saying vowels are different before we assign a meaning to them.
