The Numark TTXs have a variable pitch slider function. i wonder if they'll be any good when used in a battle position.

Pitch slider on the top? Man that's going to make things so much harder than it already is already, isn't it? I mean, you will really have to be careful not to knock on the tonearm.

well instead of reaching straight for the pitch slider, u just curve your arm around the tone arm to reach for the slider. It's not really that big of a deal unless you're a midget and u cant reach that far.

hehe yea..my turntables are in a battle position. I'm more comfortable and adjusted to it. I also have no choice b/c my coffin is a battle coffin.

Exactly, I spin out of my coffin so if I continue to I have to stick with the battle setup, however, after watching Judge Jules live and video of Armin and PvD, I've seen them all correct the pitch on the fly as they mix, and it's alot harder to do that with a battle setup. I just wonder if it's beneficial to do without the coffin and just use it for transport and learn to mix and adjust on the fly or not. What do you guys think?

Sorry if I sound like a jerk but I can't see 2) properly, and 1), 3) and 4) look the same to me. Correct me please?
