Thanks for the videos dude, i didnt knew there was such a scene over there. I stayed there for 3 months and it was hell. Didnt knew what to do. Well i am going again there for a week or so, that time i'll hit you up and then maybe we can hit a party or something.

As for turntables, i use 1200mkII pretty solid turntables, anything from technic is solid. So depending on the cash you have on hand, look into new tech or new numark tt500 or ttx, if you have cash for new tt500, then skip tt500 and look into second hand tech.

The tech i got is from 1982 or something and till today it works like it was purchased yesterday.

As for mixer, if you are scratching and stuff look into rane or urei, if you are mixing look into Pioneer DJM400 or Xone or something.

It all comes down to your budget, post your budget and we might give you a better idea.

I've been using Final Scratch since it came out.

V 1.5 (then I sold it)

V 2 Final Scratch 2 (still have it)

Now i am running Final Scratch 2 with Traktor 3

Hands down the best IMO... It take alot of patience and knowledge in Audio/Computers to configure settings and troubleshoot. Problems like tracks freezing,audio popping,etc,etc.


I have not used Serato so I can't really say much about it other than I have only heard good things.

Depends on your preference I guess. I'll be using Traktor 3/Finalscratch2/CDj800s at a set next week
