exactly. she's done that since day 1 which is why i have zero respect for her. i've gotten a few emails in the past (not recently but when they first got married) that were COMPLETELY out of character for my dad. i know my dad better than anyone and those emails were HER beef, not his. it was so annoying.

we've only had 2 major confronations and it was like 4-5 years ago. she made my sister's husband feel stupid for buying her a wedding ring that wasn't a tiffany's ring. honestly, ever since i put my foot down and told her that was unacceptable and that she owed my family an apology, there's been tension.

but whatever, that's besides the point.

i just called my dad and i got really upset talking to him but i apologized. he started lecturing me about how i've never been good about dealing with these things and brought up a time when his pilot friend died in a crash when we were living in japan. i dont even remember that!! i guess i didn't go to the funeral then because i was scared.

what the fuck did that have to do with anything? it was like he was trying to justify my actions, when really, it's just because i don't like her and can't find it in me to be phony and call her up and give her a shoulder to cry on. i've been to funerals and it sucks, but i'm not one of those people who can't deal with death or can't comfort someone who is grieving. i'm actually really good at that, just not with phony bitches i don't like or respect.

but whatever, i didn't say any of that, i just apologized to him and then called her AGAIN and left ANOTHER voicemail.
