We all don't wish trance to end up like MTV. That's the reason why I dislike the idea of introducing moving pictures into the track; it just about spoils everything. All due respect, IronDragon, but the reason why MTVs became popular was because marketeers wanted pop music to be wrapped up nicely in a complete lovely package that encompass everything from the audio experience to the visual treats accompanying the music. Trance doesn't need any of this shit. The music is self sufficient. Who gets goosepimples looking at a Trance music video? The only thing trance videos does is to give anti-trancers another reason to wallop our taste and proclaim us as cheese. Trance is very dangerously drifting towards that direction, and I don't like it one bit.

Trance doesnt go well in music videos. The We Know What you Did video is silly, I just dont get the point. Rank 1 - Airwave was even worse, it just had piet and benno sit in some virtual realty chair and fly around through mountains and clouds and shit while the music played.
I think the best idea for a video would just to have some great party footage with the tunes playing.

1) Why do you care what "anti-trancers" think?
2) I'm not saying the music not self-sufficient by why restrict it to just the audiotory domain? Don't we have 5 senses?
3) So what if "our" music is on MTV? Are you so full of yourself that only you and a select group of people can listen to trance?
4) As any genre progress, it gain in popularity. Trance was bound to appear on MTV eventually. Wether or not trance becomes more cheesy depends upon the artist. If the arist wants commercial success than that's just too bad.
Look, if you wanna bitch about it then bitch about it. But if you feel that strongly about it, I suggest you do something instead of being all self-righteous.
