In my third years of uni I dropped my load to 3 subjects per semester instead of 4 to ensure that I would pass all of them. I managed to maintain a credit average. Took me an extra semester to finish but it was well worth it. I was also working 20 hrs per week at the time.
evaluate what's going on with your schedule, decide what it is you really want to do, and plan accordingly.

"I think the scientific and the artistic spirit have something in common. The scientist wants not only to learn the facts, but to understand how they cohere, fit together and make a whole. He even uses criteria such as beauty and symmetry to help decide which theory he wants.
The scientist cannot capture the whole cosmos in thought. In his mind he makes a kind of microcosm, which we see as an analogue of the cosmos. In this way we try to get a feeling for the whole. The artist, I suppose, gets a feeling for the whole some other way.”

I talked to some guy at a major IT firm here...
I'm thinking I'll stick with what I'm doing at the moment. The need for a safety net is good IMO and it differentiates my skillbase against all the computer programmers out there...
Accounting is shit, but i'll just push through it.

None. But I'm not likely to be either.
It's always a hard one with Uni though. We, at 17ish years of age, are expected to know ourselves well enough to pick out a potential career, and motivate ourselves to strive towards that. This is especially odd timing (IMO) as that same age is generally considered the time when we move out of home, and only begin discovering who we really are outside of that comfortable dynamic we grew up in.
Is it any wonder so many people drop out? I'm sure many people have their ideal future sorted out for themselves that early in life, but to make such a huge decision like that, with barely any wisdom or life experience seems so counter productive to me.
I went traveling/backpacking for 2.5 years when I was 19 - I literally didn't have a clue what I should be doing. Best thing I ever did for myself

Accounting isn't for everyone. It's the toughest, most time-consuming business major. Either you love to do it, or you hate it. There really is no in between. Everybody that I've met that is a business non-accounting major hates accounting. So to choose it as a saftey net is not a really good idea.

I'm planning on doing accounting soon It's my chance to earn a reasonable wage in life. I can't do sciences, IT has moved on too much for me to deal with and ever since jenny laughed at my manboobs, porn has been a no-go.
