That's a pretty agressive and mindless reply you have here...

Do you really think im talking b-sh.t here? Are you that damn sure i never tried one? How about i was working with them for couple of years?? Just because your friend had a successful product, it doesn't mean anything. I was exposed to many cd players made by Numark and some by gemini. When you say "probably same with numark", your "propably" means sh.. to me becuase it's worthless.

If you don't know for sure, do not reply. If you reply, reply correctly and watch what you saying. I do have experience with them, i do know what im talking about. I will not try to prove you what's good what's bad, if you think that numark and Gemini producing high quality and very precise cd players, them i think im loosing time by replying to you. Good luck on your next Numark, peace...

I can't say much about the TT's and mixers, cus I don't know alot about them, though I hopefully will soon

But headphone-wise I can persoanlly speak for the Sony MDR-V600 model.

I used to have some Koss, but when I started making music on my comp I blew them with the first nice bass beat that hit. So I got the Sony's. I love these things! They are comfortable as fuck and do a nice job cancling out the noise of parties. mine were $85, so not all that bad on the price scale, I guess. Good luck with this!

Ok.. i am sorry about the agressiveness of the post but i dont appreciate unclaimed info about equipment which is 'bad.' In your post before, you didn't say anything from experience, just a bold statement. So your post was more mindless.

My friend is the managerof a DJ store, one of the largest in Perth, Australia.. and he claims that Gemini USED TO HAVE weak lasers whichlasted only a year. But with their new range of equipment and new set of laser series, the quality is going up in both CD players and mixers.

But maybe you have had experience with Gemini in the past, but when was the last time you have investigated the new line of products they have available now? I don't know much about Numark, but my friend says that the new AXIS series of CD players from them are high quality and carry similar if not better, lasers the American DJ Range (which actually do last).

So to get this straight, Gemini DID have crap lasers and quality before the turn of the century, but they now have re-established themselves with a higher quality in products than before. In other words, the CDJ-1100, CDJ-1200, CDJ-10 and older dual cd players have a chance of messing up on you. But the newer line CDJ-20 (new stock), CDJ-30, CD1800X, CD2000X, CD-400X, CDX-602, do have longer lasting and better quality lasers and specs.
