I'll have to FULLY disagree with the post above. Just saw this movie yesterday and absolutely loved it. I was obsessed with Transformers as a kid and this movie did not fail to deliver, at all. The graphics and action sequences were off the wall. My favorite bot was Bumblebee ... he's most human i'd say.
Ok, going to see it later with a crew of people. Anyone else see it/have a review? I've heard comments across the spectrum about it.

Yay for Harry!!!!!
Dunno about IMAX. I would've thought that Transformers would be the perfect movie format for it. lots of stuff blowing up, but ::shrug:: haven't heard anything yet.

Maybe you liked the reuse of scenes from Armageddon and Bad Boys.
Maybe you liked the constantly shaking camera(to make you feel like your really there).
Maybe you liked the precise product placement through out the film.
Maybe you enjoyed the the story. Was there one?
Maybe I just will never fully understand this movie and its greatness is beyond my own intellectual capacity.
If you want to see a real bit of urban warfare see "Children Of Men". Now thats a good action sequence. Not this Tripe from transformers. The fight scenes between them were even pathetic. The jump twist to dodge bullets in slow motion that was used a few times. And I believe I have seen that a few times in his other movies, Bad Boys anyone?

Saw this on Tuesday and it was definitely entertaining. Not a great movie by any stretches of the imagination in regards to content, but it looked really good. I thought the dialog was a bit corny at times but I though Shia LaBouf (or however you spell it) did a great job as the lead. Its a decent summer blockbuster movie so I would suggest seeing it. They didn't play the theme song I remember from my childhood though which was diappointing.

Then Swamper and his entourage of 30, who were all wearing TA monogramed Rolexes, left the room and flew to Hawaii for a few hours because Del wanted fresh coconut.
To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

Had an outstanding time watching it. Not a classic or anything, but as a huge fan of the cartoon, it was a lot of fun athough the ending was weak. Also, Soundwave was nowhere to be found, which was not cool, and Megatron looked and sounded nothing like the show.
The main girl, whatever her name is, is one of the most stunning girls I've ever seen on screen. So sexy.
