trouble is, it's not very precise. i'd rather have a full strip, like for the master volume, or on the pioneer DJM, or basically ANY other mixer out there with these meters.
why would A&H decide not to put full size ones?
one more question, on the Xone:32, can you make it so that the two big VUs above the master are the 2 tracks separated, so you can get them at the same volume with better resolution(like on the pioneer DJM300)? because if you can, it isn't such a big deal.
and yes, i know, you are supposed to do it by ear. sometimes you can't though, and it's nice to have all the tools available.

Dude, i totally agree! For me, acurate individual level metering is very important to create a perfect mix. If i cant see exactly how high each of my individual channels is peaking then when i start to mix i have to do too much correction work. I hate that
