I'm desparately looking for a warez copy of Andromeda A6 (I think it's by Alesis or something). I hear this is an amazing synth and I'd really like a copy.

Maybe you're gonna laugh at me, but I have a question:
I've been trying to find out for ages what kind of (software) synth I need to make cool trance sounds. I have FruityLoops, but it's not really what I want.
When I hear tracks like 'Alex Bartlett - Amnesia (Shokk remix)', 'Frank trax - Nebuchan', 'Plasma - restricted area' etc. etc. I wonder what synth has been used to make that wonderfull phat sound!
I'm not talking about making basslines etc., but plain, simple, wonderfull phat trance melodies.....leads etc.
Please does someone know what I need for that and if there are some virtual synths which do what I want (Like a virtual JP8000)
Thanx in advance
I read a tutorial once at Sample City on how to create a Ferry Corsten type melody. Needless to say one could do this on ModPlugTracker. The actual sample used to create the melody was a long continuous beep of sorts. I created a melody once to test it out, it sucked but I sorta gather how it's done.
