I'll give you a vote, no prob. But, if you really want to get votes nowadays, the way to do it seems to by making a facebook group called something like "My gf will have a threesome if i get 1,000,000 votes for my blog!" Booyah ftw.

I bet there would be more people agreeing with it than there would be people who detect the sarcasm.

Actually any Sammy track is better than Selu Vibra - Divine

Plus: His sets aren't even that bad (even when his mixing isn't always the best). Check his latest mix compilation "Balearic Masters": http://www.musicline.de/de/product/...///807297094824

Not to hijack the thread, but on a quick venting side-bar: it's really sad to see how having a big name means you can get anything released and get people to buy it. There are some decent tracks in that compilation, but neither the sequencing nor originality seem great at all. At least Oakey and PVD's compilations have a lot of up-and-coming artists and they put their own touch on a lot of the tracks. This compilation looks like the dude downloaded some beatport charts, dicked around in ableton for a few hours, and slapped a price tag on it. Way to do what anyone can.

Not bitter at all. I just think this kind of stuff is what gives EDM a bad name to those who don't know any better.

Many many thanks to Dojomaster26 for his blog entry. That made my day.

I might have nightmares tonight of DJ Sammy mixing Selu Vibra - Divine with Filo & Peri - The Anthem... Thanks guys. Thanks a lot. I love you too...

DJChrisB: I know what you mean. All those DJs are doing is making sure that when they're forgotten, their mix CDs will be lying in the same bargain bin as "ULTRA MEGA TECHNO TRANCE ANTHEMS VOL 23! mixed by DJ Cucumber Slice (yes, there is a DJ from CA with that name:happy2"

Update on the contest: I can't enter the Blog Essay contest, but I did enter the "Who's your favorite rockstar" contest, on the same site. Same deal as before. I've got to do a bit of editing, namely add an answer to "if you met your favorite rock star, what questions whould you ask him/her?"

quote:

What would I ask DJ Sammy? The answer is obvious:

1. Why are you so awesome?
2. When is Heaven 2007 coming out?
3. Your competition is loud, electronic and ferocious and has the elementz of life. What are you going to do about it?
4. When are you going to team up with Crazy Frog?!?
