I agree with both previous posts. It seems to me that organized religion(s) are not seeing the same numbers of worshipers they were in the past. And, they seem more obsolete TO ME than ever.
I do have a friend studying world religions who argues with me that statistically christianity is bigger than it ever was, however, I argue that maybe its 'worldwide'. Not here where I live. I remember seeing all the same kids in church when I was a boy (and my parents were still able to force me to go), and now I know all those same kids are not in Church anymore.
I'm not knocking anybody who is a practising Christian/Muslim/Jew... It just that I only seem to notice more and more people 'losing the faith'.
Does anyone here, who is not currently practising their faith, see themselves picking it up in their latter years ??? ie. passing it on to their children ???
