Then it's got to be Google conspiracy, cause I think Google News crawls many news websites, including those in other non-western countries.

It's not that the West is "ok" with people dying, it's simply that they've become desensitized. How many market bombings/suicide bombers/insurgents killed/civilian casualties/etc. can a person react to before they just start to tune it out?
