Oh, that's because this is a bizarre expression in other languages. I still remember the first time someone said "high five" to me in Portuguese, and waited for me to do it... I was completely puzzled at first, and I instinctively thought I was supposed to clap (?) his hand because he was there, raising his arm, and waiting for me to do something

First of all me and my friend kept saying 'Aribo (sp?) Cinco' but then we saw a high voltage sign at our hotel with the word 'Alto' so we opted for that instead. What does Aribo mean? I have no idea how it's spelt, but that's how it sounds like when you say it.
