Isn't Scott bond part of the management? U'd of thought he'd have more sense, being in touch with the scene (supposedly)!

but in the other 3 weeks in the month, the venue 'could' be used for gods k events, or passion tours shit like that, but thats maybe me hoping! if it does go monthly, everymonth everyone will pack the place to bursting point, and then people will get frustrated and the whole lot will colasp!

yeh i hope theres still decent stuff other nights, but know knows it will never be as good as weekly GC #

and yeh it will be so packed and ticket will have to be bought way in advance and other mad stuff like that

well its so nearly the end of the day and i've been really happy all day now this what a fuck up its just gonna go bust if it does one night a month i dont see what the fuck has happened i cant see how its short of money at all they should cut down on tours and stuff if theres problems not close the club 3 weeks out of 4 thats just turd on a stick

Apperantly there going monthly so they can start putting some effort into their London night at Heaven.

its because of the local authorties according to neo. which is true i suppose, considering GC is a bit of a late night 9 hour drugs nest n a saturday if u catch my dift. but its a right shame

but they are starting a monthly events in london, and probably a couple more places round the country, so maybe all is not lost! although we all know there will never be anything liek that up where i live

i dont think its got anything to do with local authorities...

the chesterfield theory is this:

gatecrasher are doing an impression of heinz. remember ages ago, heinz announced they were going to stop producing their salad cream as it wasnt selling very well..? then loads of people bought it, so they announced they wernt stopping production anymore. ppl alleged this was done to make ppl buy it... it was sneaky, but legal, and it worked.

we (being the chesterfield cru ) think that GC are saying this just to get punters in... attendance has been low recently (mainly because they have a long set every week instead of all 2hr sets.. this means that a) if a person doesnt like the dj playing the long set they wont go.. and b) its relying one one DJ to play a good set to make the night. if it was like it used to be then we would have 5 djs a night all doing 1.5/2hr sets.. meaning theres less pressure on each dj..) so if they say GC is gonna be monthly, loads of ppl are gonna be goin in the weeks going into june... then on the first week in june (when it starts going monthly) they will announce that due to unforseen revenue they will no longer be making GC monthly.. thus setting up the truly awesome atmosphere at the summer sound system.

as usual, GC are keeping everyone in the dark about it all.. and i agree with whoever it was that said, i cant see scott bond wanting GC monthly.. its not his style

yeh i know, thats why its all so confusing! and i thinks its universally agreed about the more DJs part innit. i mean thered prosb be sum1 i liked every week if it wernt like the solo event things! anyway i hope it does turn out like salad cream, and reappear after the summer months
