Personally I'm not professionally creative, I think that's partially because there's no monetary gain in it and that's what's more important to me than happy thoughts and I'm not a happy person when I'm broke. It would be nice where I could just sit down with 'hobby' creativity that I enjoy, but it's going to have to wait until I have the financial security, no mortgage and time to do it. What small amount of time I have spare I like to spend doing creative things, I still make or alter a lot of my clothes, sometimes I'll get to play on the mixer and spin up some tunes, an activity which you seem to despise or even just fart around with make up.
PVDangel is someone making/aiming for a career in graphic design I think and might be better qualified to answer how she sees it as a professional activity.

Well she is playing a record that dj assault could have played a lot better back in the day...without pretending to be cutting the bass on the track when thats actually just the way the track goes (if you have this record?)
Also how many tries does it take her to cue the record? and it it just me or does she panic when she grabs the second record, and the bass drops on the playing record and shes like "oh shit i gotta pretend to be cutting that bass!"

nah i dont despise djing...its cool for little parties and shit when you dont wanna set up a lot of gear. Fuck, I'll play records don't get me wrong. I just wouldnt expect to get paid for it usually. It isnt as engaging as programming tracks live.
I just dont think it deserves the respect it gets. Making a mix is an art by all means...but all arts are not created equally.

Well that's your problem right there, a subjective judgement based on only your personal opinion or preferences. Which is at least as valid as anyone else's subjective judgements but never leads to any kind of conclusive answers. Just a circular Yes-No argument.

thats right so lets have it
I gave my opinion you give yours. What am i supposed to do, go oh everybody likes different things so im just gonna shut up and not do anything.
No man, you follow what your passion is. Djs can go at it. If I jammed boxes live, and then some dumbass came up after and played some trance records...yeah the crowed would love him more...does that mean he is better? well not to me and not to a handful of other people. thats enough for me! everybody doesnt have to share my opinion.
you said you arent professionally creative...fuck professional creations...just be creative to start with! Pro producers can make some of the most uninspiring tracks i have ever had to hear.
yeah theres no money in it...theres no money in being an individual with taste, and being proud of what you like and do.
I can take my fair share of ridicule.
look over at the producers forum, most trancecrackers want to work efficiently and make money and shit, so they think using analogue gear is a waste of money and energy. You do what you love.

I have a distinct passion and creative knack for making money, preferably a lot of it and I'm good at it, that and only an idiot would get in the way of me doing it. It just happens that doing that is personally more rewarding to me than sitting around making clothes/mixes/tiesto chops in photoshop or anything else that doesn't make me able to pay the bills at the end of the week and I'm not as lucky to have it all on a plate!
That is generally seen as a bad thing by the majority of people who are either socialists, students in Che T-shirts, an ex husband, or run around at political rallies to express their personal opinions.
I don't see that as bad thing as it keeps me focused and grounded in reality, as a makeup artist I might make 40k a year, administration or sales maybe 50, upper management (which I do now) or group training 70-90, Tiesto chops on TA $0, Mixes $0, making clothes -$, renting properties out annually a six figure income.
Outgoing is also a six figure sum to the bank.
I run off and make a career out of some of those and the budget is not met, I have to liquidate assets and that is the simple reality.
