The beat counter will cripple you. I have cdj-200s and cover the beat counters with some solid tape.

It's funny how things work. When I started mixing, it was shoes in a dryer all the time. I had no clue which track to speed up or slow down. It literally took months, but now it's like riding a bike. So hang in there, use your ears, and do NOT give up. One day you'll look back on it and laugh and wonder wtf you ever needed a beat counter for. You'll be glad you stuck with it. Mixing records is perhaps the most enjoyable hobby I can imagine.

i agree.. before i didnt know.. and now its so easy i can do it with my eyes closed (i have no tried it in phear i would nock down my cdj )
