Ohhh yeah when he dropped The Future I went crazy!! That was great! Tiesto really stepped it up last night...he exceeded all of my expectations. Several of the tracks that he selected were a bit cheesey but I thought his tracklist overall was pretty good, and he played a couple of his older songs that I was looking forward to hearing. I thought his mixing was pretty much flawless, but I guess I'm not the best judge of that. And I loved the venue!
I'm not sure I like the crowd that Tiesto shows attract. I definately met some really nice people, but there were definately more rude, pushy people than at most shows I've been to in San Francisco. (Like the dumbasses that threw water all over Tiesto's equipment.)
Last night was great until we walked to where our car was parked about 2 blocks away and realized that someone had smashed in the pasanger window and stolen everything we had inside...ipods, cellphones, purses, credit cards, pretty much everything. So it sucked to drive home with no window and glass everywhere. Such a bad ending to such a good night.

if you park on public streets in any major city, the 1st rule you should know is never ever ever leave anything of value in plain sight. it doesn't matter if it's a $50 cd deck or $10 sunglasses or a half-empty pack of cigarettes. it's an open invite for lowlifes to 'explore' the rest of your car. judging from your list of things stolen, you guys brought too much to the party. i only bring what i'm carrying in to where ever i'm going. if there's anything else, it goes in the trunk. major events like this draw out all the thieving scum of the city like moths to a light. everyone i know that went decided to park at the ruby skye parking lot and cab it over to bill graham for $5. since we ended up parking on the 6th and 7th floor, i'm assuming a lot of other people did the same. sorry about your misfortune. i would also caution you to watch your wallet at crowded events in the future.

Wow, someone had the audacity to just toss a water bottle into Tiesto's DJ booth? Was that what happened?
Also, speaking of equipment... I thought it was pretty cool of Tiesto to wrap up his headphones and toss it into the crowd at the end.

I'm not sure if someone intentionally threw water into the DJ booth or someone was just throwing water over the crowd and it accidentatlly got on his equipment...I just remember seeing Tiesto freak out and some guy come over to help him wipe it up. Poor guy, my friends who went to the Colorado show said that Tiesto stormed off half an hour before his set was supposed to end, because people were throwing glowsticks at him.

Yeah, we were parked off Grove, so that was probablly my friends car you saw. It was pretty stupid of us to park on the street even though we hid everything under the seats. We were just so excited to see Tiesto and get inside that we didn't even think about it. Oh well, we won't be making that mistake again.

I was behind TIesto when the water was thrown which was around the time when he started kicking ass, 1:30am or so. In the end, it didn't seem to phase Tiesto. He seemed to just let the who guys know what happened, where the water was, and they worked on drying things up with napkins while he kept on going. He was maybe frustrated for about ten seconds but kepts on raising his arms, smiling (both to the crowd and his people) while all this was being taken care of.
I think he expect some issues to an extent. Nothing too terribly bad happened and when I left the area behind him he seemed to be enjoying himself.
Knowing how Bill Graham events are....cut off time is cut off time. They don't care who or what is playing.
