lol, did you even read his post? Not looking for minimal.

Jamie, I really recommend Misstress Barbara Relentless Beats Vol 1. It's an oldie but a goodie and I still love every track on it - it's got a bit of funk to it here and there but is pretty pumping overall. Carl Cox has a few mixed CDs out as well that are older, but still good.

If I dont find this CD, I'll DL some of their sets, see what all the hype is about. I remember you speaking of them very fondly after last year's WMC, RJ. So they are techno DJs are they then?? Ja?

I'll try to look for both. Thanks Sarah.

DE9 isn't really minimal man. It's just straight up techno. You should really check it out!

I'm pretty sure that he means that he's not looking for the "minimal" that most people are listening to today. Based on what I know of Jamie's tastes, I'm certain that he would enjoy DE9.

I agree it's a good CD! but not if he's looking for "nice and banging, hard and intense" techno.

Valentino Kanzyani, Adam Beyer and Dave Clarke

based on your description i suggest you check out their older compilations. Adam Beyer's fabric compilation is highly suggested.

Eh. Probably just a phase. Dude's produced many different genres so hopefully he'll go back to banging techno
