That is.. sad
But what's even worse is that it is not only Nashville's problem, but world's.. it is no better anywhere else, especially in megacities..
and Russia is no better either.. I lived there when it was relatively ok; from 1997 on it went downhill.. right now, I hear it's the same.. It is well-known that the cheapest drugs are in Moscow, poor or not..

beg to differ. Moscow might have a lot of drug dealers residing in the clubs, but as for the rest of Russia, it's MUCH better than what drug stories I've heard around here. I'm originally from a Russian city Voronezh, and it's pretty big (1million+)... Whenever I went to the clubs to spin or to dance, I have never seen a person that was high on anything (well, maybe some of them were smoking pot. but that's not a drug, is it). Some of them were drunk (that's one major problem in Russia, and everyone knows about it), but for everything else it was great. Maybe, like CKYTEP said, it would be much worse, if people there had more money.

I completely know what your saying. It's really gross, and really sad how those people can have no self respect for themselves. I know what it's like to have friends like that though. I had this one friend in highschool, and her main drug was CRYSTAL, although she did a lot of stuff.. crystal was her thing. Me and her used to work together and she would get a nose bleed almost every shift we worked, and one time she sneezed and glass fibres came out of her nose and into her hand. The reason for this was because she would buy cheap crystal all the time.. her habit for the stuff was so severe that she couldn't afford to buy the "cleaner" crystal.. so she would buy the cheap stuff with glass fibres in it that cuts the inside of your nose so you get high quicker. REALLY REALLY GROSS!... anywaze... I was there for her, tried being her friend, well I WAS her friend.. but you can never seem to help people like that. They just don't want to be helped! It's as if they feel a sense of comfort from doing drugs. Eventually she moved on to harder things and more severe habits like coke, and god knows what else.. but I was getting really tired of putting in all my effort for her and not enough for myself so our friendship eventually deteriorated, and it made me really sad, because I constantly saw friends going in and out of her life and giving up.. and I promised I would never give up on her.. but it happenned.. you just can't do it, you can try, but only they can help themselves.. and I hope soon that all these druggies in Nashville realize what their doing to themselves. Not only in Nashville but everywhere! It's a psychological disease as well.... if seeing coke come out of your eye when you snort it, because u've snorted so much of it in your lifetime that it's f**ked up your nasal passage way.. AND THAT DOESN'T BOTHER YOU?... SCARE YOU?.. but instead you think it's FUNNY?... then there is seriously something mentally wrong with you and I mean that in all seriousness. Well.. I just hope these kids can ween themselves away from it.. because I used to do E quite a bit, and realized.. it's just NOT worth it. Now I don't do anything, and I've never snorted anything in my life due to the traumatizing reality of seeing what my friend went through, and is most likely STILL going through. She is a bum now (so I heard), no job, no school, does nothing but hangs out with her drug dealer and does who knows what all day long. It messes with you, and you eventually get into this really bad pattern, habit, and lifestyle. I don't want to sound like a talking ad for one of those cheesy commercials, but if anyone reads this that is seriously into drugs and heavily into them... really think about what your doing and how it could affect the rest of your life.. or even end your life. It's like getting a tatoo when you were 16, and then eventually HATING it when you are 26, married, and with children... same thing goes for drugs.. once you mess with your body and system.. it might never be the same again and you can never turn back the hands of time.. it will even cut your life short, just like smoking does. Anyhow.. that's all I have to say about that... 4 now.
