Lightning fast, this smart-arse kid up the back yelled out "goggles?!"

About the only sensible idea he puts forth in the book is that it would, indeed, almost certainly be possible to sustain a society without men 125,000 years from now. He's really going out on a limb there, given that at the current rate of scientific advancement, we'd likely be able to do that in, oh say, 1/1000th of that time.

The 10% of the book that actually deals with science is a perfect example of why pop science is a rubbish genre, and the other 90% might as well have been published seperately and titled "The Unintelligible Reflections of Bryan Sykes."

you should post more often

A future without the male species is impossible, I'm not even going to bother posting the scientific evidence and theories that prove this. Just another random "scientist" trying to stand out amongst others. Maybe in another 100,000 years aliens from other planets will come to earth and breed with our women and and the outcome will be the most advanced and civilized sub species in the galaxy. Who the fuck really knows what's going to happen then, we'll be long gone.

I think the fact that you refer to males as a distinct species discounts anything you have to say on the matter

A world without men would end up being a waste land full of used dildos.
