I'm guessing you Mac = Safari, the proprietary software browser.

However I use Firefox on my Mac! Firefox is the only way to go.


The other browser that people tend to use it Opera which is fairly decent i've heard and free as well.

I have both but I prefer using Firefox - with FF you can at least go back and 'Undo' the damage if you are typing something and accidentally happen to delete it by pressing the wrong combination of keys (as it's happened to me a few times with IE)

Most annoying thing ever when Your typing an email or something like that. Atleast Gmail has autosave...but some others don't!! argh...

Explorer sucks balls, but I have to use it at work.

i use IE for the simple reason that it allows me to switch seamlessly from an explorer (folder) window to a webpage by using the address bar, and back.

for example: if i was to type a url into the address bar of a folder, the window would turn into an IE browser window, even if i had firefox installed and set as my default browser. If i remember correctly this even happens when you click favorites from the menu in a folder window. This was annoying because i'd constantly be using two browsers since those methods are primarily how i launch a website.

i've tried Firefox a few times and stopped using it because i couldn't figure out if that function was possible.


please enlighten me if i missed an option to do this with firefox.

i leave my firefox open all the time until i decide to reboot (usually once every 3-4 weeks) and dont have any problems.

the coolest addon i think i have is the exif data for photos.

FireFox - I tend to install it on any computer I'll be working with for any period of time.

FireFox + AdBlock Plus + AutoUpdating list = rarely get any popups/banners/etc.

I run Linux on my desktop at home, so IE isnt even an option there.

all those add ons is the reason its eating up so much RAM. plus all those youtube videos are pretty CPU intensive


i only use firefox, but i use 1.5 duno if theres any point in switching to 2.0 ....
