imo, nope not dressed up.
when i hear "dressed up", i think looking nice for the occasion. since it's a presentation, a nice sports jacket, clean pants, and nice shoes would be the minimum. a tux isn't required for that.

jeans are never ever ever ever part of dressing up no matter how fancy anything else you are wearing is.

khakis are business casual, polos casual.

you need dark pressed slacks, shoes that dont show sock, a belt, a button up shirt - tie preferable with simple/strong pattners(nothing too busy), and a jacket.

no pastels, no faded colors. either white or dark. Pressed collar, look sharp.

dressing up has to include at least 3 pieces of clothing in my humble opinion. And that does not include jeans and shoes must go along with the outfit. The lest would be:

dress pants, button up shirt and a tie.

Dress shirt, dark pinstripe suit (thin pinstripes!), vest (would be super awesome), and a light tie (I like to combo light tie with dark suit...just me though). Also everything should be a slim euro fit, none of that baggy pleated nonsense

omg never pleated.

my favorite suits are New York style. Its very euro. Higher collars, slimmer fit. West Coast business suits are baggy pieces of shit.

Get it tailored. If I got a suit off the rack i might have to literally go nuts.

I never understood the pleated thing...I'm not a 70 year old man with a prostate the size of a grapefruit

sometimes I'm a fan of pleats, sometimes not. Depends on the pants. Anything that's supposed to be casual, though, no.

Definitely not a fan of cuffs on pants, either.
