B. I think tribal is fucking boring. All of it. Even the stuff you think is good. Trust me. I've looked.

3. Never respond to statements of opinion with assertions of fact that can never be proven.

Chus & Ceballos really hit the jackpot on that one for a minute there.

Dude, Lawler has a handfull of amazing tribal, all scattered about through his years of playing it. Last time I saw a really good set from him, he started off playing his newer sound and dropped a bunch of the older stuff much later into his set, mindblowing. Tracks like Indart - Remember The Past & that one from his metrodance set, dark, evil sounding stuff with great percussion.

1. I know.

2. How do you even know what particular kind of music and/or artists I'm talking about?

3. Statements of opinion start with "I think that...", "It's is my view that..." or "In my opinion...", as opposed to:

No, my assertion of fact can never be proven, but neither can yours.

If you knew, why even reply in the first place?

And my opinion was implied by context.

Well, as long as you feel you've looked far enough. But I try not to write off entire genres for good. I'll keep those old bombs to myself then

I never said I think tribal is bad, I just find it utterly fucking boring - the sets people have told me are "legendary tribal" are almost always good for the first 5 minutes, then nothing happens. Ever.

I can respect that other people like it, but it just doesn't do it for me.

And as opposed to drum & bass, which I pretty much have written off completely without even really giving a ton of it a chance, I tried, really, really, really hard to get into tribal. I mean really, really, really, unbelievably hard - and I just didn't get it.

I'm always willing to give more a shot, always - and with expectations low, it would be easy to impress.

Honestly though again, it's just one of those things where I feel like something isn't really good, but it's clearly not bad (unless subjective boredom makes something bad, but I'd like to think that it doesn't ).
