Hmmm, this song is played ALL THE TIME on the radio here....but the music is different, but at the same time they never claim it's a remix or anything. Me a little confused.

You guys have an EDM station up north? Wish we had one here in LA. Well I guess thats why I have XM. XM has a house station, a dance hits station and a trance station.

Yeah, Energy 92.7. When it launched it started off strong, but then went to shit, but recently is getting better, though it plays a whole lot of the same ole crap dance music we've been hearing for years. But a couple of DJs like Trevor Simpson, Dimitris Mykonos, etc who play on there (Trevor having his own show every night) regularly keep the station worth listening too plus I like to listen to it late in the evening during the week if I'm driving as the play a ton of great classics (they really like to play Out of the Blue a lot at night lol).

The radio station really tries to appeal to different crowds during different parts of the day. Has a bigtime mix of radio hosts, both straight and gay (one being called Greg the gay Sportscaster, lol).

That's because it's prolly a radio version of the song. One that can appeal to a lot more people.

We used to have Groove 103.1...but that went bye bye. Think its Indie now.

Think the strongest radio show on FM in the LA area, that has been going strong since I was in Jr High or High School would be Power Tools w/ Richard Vission, Sweedish Egil and those guys.

There is a MUCH better remix of this track. I forget which one it is, but Guetta dropped it at Sensation White a few weeks ago. Regardless, I'll take more Guetta/Angello collabs ANY day! French and Swedish...best of both house worlds.

I am not stupid. Jeezus. Radio versions are cut down versions of the original version.

The version I hear in the radio has COMKPLETELY DIFFERENT MUSIC>

I actually got into this discussion Monday night w/ a local female house DJ.

I asked why good House music is played in LA w/ a knowledgeable crowd played only on certain nights, or if they do play house at a nightclub, its just a song or two, or in a small or corner patio?

She said if DJ's play more commercial it will pick up.

I'm optimistic that house/EDM will pick up in California and the rest of the US in the next couple of years.

Another issue is cost and profit for the promoters. (Costs too much w./ too much risk to get the DJ's that bring crowds). There are only 2 or 3 people I know of that know how to make a profit doing an all EDM night or event.
