Location: Near metric fuck-a-ton of high-end gear

sounds extremely close to PEK and virtually nothing like the original Prophet. Just because the namesake has been revived, let's not get all excited just yet. We all know how well roland did with a Juno and SH name revival. It's like touring of old 80's bands - name and memories remained, yet none of the "content" or "feeling" is there. I hope I'm wrong on this and I will be the first one to eat my own words, but I'm not pitching a tent until I can hear at least some resemblance to the original Prophet sound.

Since Dave Smith is the original creator of the Prophet 5, I would guess he didn't just wanna clone the PEK, in terms of sonic character. I haven't heard much from the PEK, but I'd say that the tonal character of what Ive heard is similar to that of pro53 - which I love of course, alot better sounding!
