i heard that if you're sitting around and you get that ringing, then the best thing to do is to listen to something at a moderate volume. I get that sometimes after I blast trance into myself, and it scares the fuck out of me. I just put on some talk radio and make stupid noises with my mouth and I go back to normal fairly quick.

A scientific studied showed that listening to "white noise" showed significant reductions in the ringing. Cos the beep is the brain trying harder to listen to noise whilst u r in the club, but when u get out, there sin't loud noise so that beep that is generated stays. Or something like that.

and the loudest rave or whatever was some drum n bass rave.

The promoters have a legal obligation to hand out ear plugs at the door.

When people didn't know the risks, and didn't take the plugs, their eardrums burst, and there ears were bleeding. People were being sick due to the noise. The noise level matched the internal resonance of their internal organs, which is why they were being sick and stuff.

WICKED!!!!

Hm thanks for those tipps...I actually tried TEA yesterday, didnt help too much. Well i had a serious Tinitus in my excessive summer days last year. I went to the doctor, but he said that my hearing was still perfect and that i might hear the silent "beep" just because im more aware of it, knowing u have it makes you care more...listen harder. In fact its mostly psychology. He also pounted out that EVERY human has a very weak tinitus that can get louder, especially if you're aware of it. Anywayz...The extra-loud tinitus im living with now will go away in 1 week like it did in some cases. Afterwards ill have to just forget the weaker one..erm..sounds weird but thats the way it is.
Oh and yesterday i tried to meditate, and being fully concentrated in non-concentration (thats what i consider meditation ) u eventually dont hear the tinitus anymore. Oh and i also listened to Schiller's "Weltreise" hehe

mdma: Dont u tell me about drum n bass being loud The rave ive been too had a d&b floor too...and all i can say is that...this is pure MADNESS!! Its nice but after 20 minutes u just give up to this insane noise
And what is "white noise"?

White noise, is kinda hard to explain.

Its the noise your TV and Radio makes when its not tuned to a particular frequency, the interference if u will. E.g a Radio station 2 radio stations require 91.5mhz and another one need 93mhz, the sapce between will have static. Thats white noise.

white noise = static

And Hanson did not throw the loudest concert in History, I remember reading this somewhere, lol. It was a hair band from the early 90's. I'm think Poison, maybe. I forget. They had a shitload of speakers, I know that. I remember reading a story about all this in Guitar World magizine. The lead guitar blew up a bird. And I'm not joking. They have pictures of it in the magizine. A bird flew by the speakers and the lead guitarist hit a chord and the fucking bird exploded. I'll try to find those picture to scan for ya'll. My firnd has the mag.

i saw on the news that they are trialing a drug in Australia that works well for permenant sufferers of tinitus.

the ringing sound after lots of loud music is only temporary yeh? But too much will gradually make you deaf.. I saw an ad on TV, some propaganda about work place safety, with a labourer who worked in a factory with loud machinery for 10 years or something without proper ear protection and he was totally rooted hearing wise, you could bearly hear him speaking. (i thought the opposite would be true - you would speak louder when you went deaf. ?) Anyway, the point is alot of loud sound alot of the time is bad.
