Well, in my opinion, China is just providing the supply to the demand. Obviously, if there is a demand for a product, there will be a producer that will step up and supply the demand. It's free market capitalism, and the Chinese are doing it better than we are. Except when they manipulate their currency.

However, if Russians are supplying weapons to Iran, these companies get slapped with embargo and bans, while Chinese are just fine and dandy. You think Americans and their allies are OK with CHina undermining them? I doubt that China is "accidentally" doing this, or following supply and demand rules. This is a bigger political game, the one that Chinese communists cannot afford to pass on ...

EDIT: Its not called "supply and demand" when you backstab your friends and sell to their enemies sophisticated weapons systems knowing full well what their uses are going to be. You dont do that to your friends, thats just ignorant to assume. Would you be a friend if you go behind your friend and do something that will clearly undermine that person? These are not small arms, not small transparent deals. Unless Chinese are not really friends, but having other plans ...

As much as some politicians claim China to be our friend, it is not so. China is more of an acquaintance than a friend. In the interest of trade. Western Europe is our friend. If US forces weren't in Iraq in the first place, we wouldn't be having this discussion. As for afghanistan, the area is rife with black market arms dealing. I'm not surprised to see Chinese weaponry being bought by the taliban on the black market, and used in afghanistan. Even more so, these weapons somehow getting to Iraq.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Chinese weapons have been purchased even before that point...

I would like to state it the third time, but these are not just some small arms that Chinese are selling ... these are the latest and sophisticated Chinese arms. When considering other regional players that might've sold these purchased Chinese new arms to Taliban: Pakistan has bad relations with China, awash with violence against Chinese nationals and attempts by Pakistani military to eliminate some resistance officials within China's borders; Iranian bad blood with Taliban brewn long ago culminating with 1998 massacre of Iranian dimplomats, regular border skirmishes ... and arms smugglers are out of the question, because they typically dont have even the access to the latest Chinese arms not even talking about selling them on the black market. I wouldn't be conspiracy theorist to naively assume that Chinese somehow teamed up with Pakistani military or Iranians to sell/give arms to their enemies .... Plus taking into consideration Chinese position, power and speeches done by some of their politicians, and other obvious agenda they have in mind that probably goes against American strategies in the same region. But political motivations are obvious.

It turns out, this is not the first time China has been caught and warned. Chinese communist government/military ******s don't really give a shit about world stability. We should add China to the axis of evil list now that the spot freed up by North Korea, and China is next in line - but political hypocrisy, double standards, ignorance and idiocy will prevail. WHERE THE F*CK IS THE POPULAR MEDIA on this? How come USA and its allies are not criticizing China for this like they were accusing Iran? Because now its obvious that any Iran military "shipments" to insurgents are actually Chinese. Check this out:

There just playing the US's game. The problem is the Chinese are better at it.
