I was stuck behind some woman who argued for 15 minutes about a 19 cent difference on a price of some item and I vowed at that moment to never ever be that anal and tight assed in my life no matter how poor I was. So, unless it's some drastic error then it's not worth my effort.

Re: do you attempt to get your money back?

Today i was at the grocery store, and i bought two boxes of cinnamon toast crunch (and some other stuff). but the boxes were supposed to be 2 for $4.00. but they rang up as $3.19 each. i saw it on the recipt and was like, "well, wtf is this?" so i went back into the store to the customer service desk, and they were like, yeah, it's not right, and gave me the difference. ended up getting $2.50 back. not a big deal, but i still think the idea of going back and being charged what you were supposed to be is a good idea.
anyone ever do that? as a consumer, do you stick up for what the price is/should be? |
you did the right thing brother, I do the same, right after I get my receipt.
