i scrape the whip cream off of the pie if there is any on it. i don't care for it. i don't mind warm pumpkin pie with ice cream though!

honestly, i think the reason why so many people dislike pumpkin pie is because they just haven't had good pumpkin pie. store bought pumpkin pies are fucking gross, and if that's all i'd ever had i'd probably hate it too.
it's all about the spices. gotta get the spices just right. i haven't made one in years but my mom and i always kicked ass at making pumpkin pies... just might have to cook one up this Thanksgiving!
also, i hate whipped cream or ice cream on my pies. if a pie is cooked right there's no reason to contaminate it with that shit.
