hmmm well first the age of a system isnt a factor when power is involved, the GC may be powerful but the ps2 is capable of more with the emotion chip and the fluidity of everything with it,regardless of how new the cube is the ps2 is a better built machine, dont get me wrong though i love the GC,i thinks its sweet and wouldnt trade mine for the world

Who cares about power ? If u want power then play ur games on the pc. The most important thing about consoles is the games. What amazing games are out for the gamecube ? That is an amzing price for gamecube, 3 consoles all at once cant afford to get them all.

ALthough I'm happy the GC is really cheap and I can now buy it anytime I want, its a bit kiddy-orientated, with the monkey puzzle and lugig's mansion. Oh well still want one, and I can hook up my GBA to it too, so I'll be happy!

Oops, forgot about this.

The GameCube is more powerful than the PS2. I haven't seen anything, anywhere that proves this wrong. Look at Rogue Leader compared to Jedi Starfighter. Jedi make me chuckle.

Anyway!

I have my GC now, and it's great. Luigi's Mansion, Monkey Ball, and Rogue Leader are all brilliant games. Looking forward to Smash Bros.!
