Seen sasha on saturday.

not my thing really. All very baws. left 30 minutes into his set. behrouz on before him was magic but.

he's just playing epic trance, but 10 bpm slower
I'm sure there was a quote a few years back from him taking the piss out of excessive snare rolls

I'm not really a fan of the EM either. He got the crowd going.


Bonnaroo = best Sasha set in recent times...


And yeah, he's not doing much in ableton, but the technical way it is setup is quite impressive.

I haven't heard the bonnaroo set yet, so I'm going to give it a listen.

What exactly do you mean with "The technical way it is setup", is it just that he has a wonderful equipment, but he is not doing anything with the xtras of his equipment (Like Having a Xone 92, with a box effect, and he is just using the eq buttons, not filters and effects, and any advantage that the equipment has over a simple low class mixer)?


Is there anything on the EM Mix that could not be done with a pair of CDJ's and a mixer?
