i am shattered they sold out in five minutes

only about the first five people got tickets where i tried to get them. might have to try ebay.

apparently in the city some people at the front of the queue were walking away with 20 tickets each. now if they are serious about stopping scalping (which they are not) they need to place a maximum on how many tickets you can purchase. i think a maximum of five tickets should be allowed.

it shits me when i miss out on tickets even though i wait there beforehand and then come home and there are tickets for sale on ebay for double the price.

it has been announced they are playing big day out though

ticketek usually has a 4 ticket minumum-- a good policy: still doesn't seem to help, unless you're there 6 hrs early... but yeah, at least makes it harder for those scalping kvnts!

dont you mean 4 ticket maximum? dont see how a 4 ticket minimum would discourage scalpers

just checked ebay they are selling at $500 per ticket

i lined up and was about 12th in line, only the first five people managed to get tickets where i was.

reminds me of silverchair selling out in 3 mins in toronto - groups of middle-aged men lining up to buy the max amount of tix. availanle to sell on ebay. they are fucking ****s - the promoters of these gigs need to ban ebay online sales of these tix to avoid this bullshit. bring back the late 90s (offspring/everclear+silverchair all for $15) *drools

dont need to ban ebay because scalpers will always find a way to sell tickets.

they need to impose a maximum of 2 tickets per person. which means if you want to go to the concert you had better lineup.

Check out the tickets already on ebay....there is no way people will actually pay some of the amounts already bidded...

im talking in hundreds of thousands...in fact millions.

im happy with seeing them at BDO...but if i were a disgruntled fan who had been waiting since 6am in the ticketek lines to NOT get a ticket...i would probably place fake bids too...
