its a good track, just not one I would say 'fucking rocks!!!!!!!!!'

Have fun mixing into it on the 13th at 160BPM ZACK!!!!!!!!

I suppose you're right, but that can be said of almost any song. I just think this one tries too hard to be experimental. But, your point is well taken.

Yeah you are definitely right about that. I mean, I've passed up on so many tracks when browsing sites for music to play because of whatever reason. And then go out and hear it in a set and be completely blown away by it. That's what is so great about music, how much it ties into our emotions and moods at a specific moment.

And I mean as far as this specific track, Withdrawal, being an opening track for a set. Maybe for your sets Zack because from what I heard you play a lot of progressive stuff, but for a dj who plays minimal almost throughout the entire set, why would he limit himself to playing this only in the beginning? If I went to a party where minimal and techno were being played I would definitely be expecting this track at around 5am!

everything is relative, of course.

Withdrawl is a nice track, I have it in my beatport cart to buy.

But for me it definitely doesn't constitute a rocking track.

For whats its worth, I don't play much progressive...myself and Keryn did in Philly, but we don't usually play that stuff up here. I play a lot of tech house / techno, some electro and progressive tracks, and definitely some minimal early on in my sets.

agree with zack..def an opener

love the catchy albino lead

would work well at pawn shop wmc...then that would be classified as a banger considering everything else they play is monotone mnml lol..any hint of melody is like "o my gawd..no way"
