Doesn't the father deserve some of the blame here? He knew his wife was nuts, he knew she was off her meds, and clearly he left the children in her care. Fuck him too.
uhm, we dont know the whole situation... unless we know the case and detail, no we sholdnt be blaming the father at all at this point!
just bc someone is bi-polar does not mean they do shit like this off their meds.
a girl at work dated a bipolar guy who'd been that way for years before he found out he was while dating her...
bi-polar does not = crazy... to blame the father bc his fucking wife did this is ridiculous at this point, w/ teh information we've gotten from teh articles posted in this thread.

the severity of bi-polar disorder can vary a lot
my supervisor has a mild case of that, nasty mood swings, eek

If they were your kids, and your wife/partner/spouse posed any danger to them due to some sort of disorder, would you leave them alone with her?
Agreed that all the facts aren't contained in the article, but when it comes to mental disorders, I don't believe the blame can fall squarely on the person bearing the disorder.
This wasn't an unknown condition - she was medicated at one point.

yes, but do we konw what this bi-polar condition of hers involved? is there past history that leaving the kids w/ her would be a bad idea for their safety? did the father have a reason to suspect such a thing was even in teh relm of possibility of happening?
i dont know that he did? (thogh he could have too, we dont know based on this info)... bc the only bi polar person i know is the ex of a coworker, he leaving kids w/ him wouldnt be a huge issue safety wise, on or off his meds. he wasnt going to go crazy like this woman did.

Didn't you know? Murdering your children is the "in" thing nowadays.
