This is definitely not the place to talk about trance unless it's psy or some the old stuff. Maybe some techier stuff perhaps. But any thread relating to melodic/epic trance or the DJs who play it and producers who create it are bashed most if not all the time. That's just the trend on here. Then there's those who absolutely hate trance but still post on here..and bash it whenever they get a chance. Kind of sucks posting something on trance when you know someone will come in and say everything you like is shit. But it's best to just ignore them...wish I did that more. |
It's true that sometimes people behave like dicks in threads that are about uplifting trance, like attacking the people who listen to it, without giving any reason. That's uncalled for. However most of the threads that turn into dogshit have subjects like: "what's your favourite track ever?", "what's progressive?", "am i the only one not to like trance anymore?", "don't forget voting in dj mag for armin". When you've been here for a couple years, reading that simply feels like your intelligence is being insulted. I try to ignore discussions about music that I'm not interested in, but in that particular kind of bullshit, it's almost hard not to make some sort of smartass remark.
